OBX Pridefest 2011 turned out to be the perfect weekend getaway for nearly 2,000 LGBT visitors to our shores on June 24-26. Our entertainment, sunset cruises and beach parties got rave reviews from all participants! We want to send out a big THANK YOU to all of our business sponsors and volunteers. Without your generous support we could not have planned and produced the first historic gay pride festival in Northeast North Carolina. There were no protests, no political activists and no problems with the weather. What a joy it was to see our first pridefest go off without a hitch!
